The artist’s journal is taken everywhere on travels and, along with sketches, records atmospheres, feelings, notes and loves.

This 2020 solo exhibition explores human-animal relationships and the empathic bonds we form. Drawing from mythologies of transformation alongside moments in daily life, the work embraces the natural empathy implicit in simply painting what one loves.
