Artist in Residence, 2023
I have been fortunate to be able to immerse myself in creativity for three months, in the CASM studio, Mandurah, Western Australia. I began this residency with an open mind and no specific goals in place. I only knew I was interested in our deep connection to the natural world. This precious time has helped to crystallise my vision in terms of what I want to paint, and has resulted in several new threads of work to follow.
The Kennedy Prize 2023 Finalist
Exciting news…!
I'm so happy to announce my painting, Sleeping Dogs and The Moon, has been selected as a finalist for the Kennedy Prize 2023. This $25,000 prize is awarded to works that embody, comment on or celebrate the theme of Beauty. My painting is currently hanging in the The Royal South Australian Society of Arts gallery.
